History's most famous pot: the Meidias hydria
What I'd like to know is how something so relatively fragile managed to survive so well for around 2500 years. I want to know about how it was found, condition, etc. What's it's story? Not the British Museum's story but its story?

Indeed, the "story of the object from its perspective" would be interesting to know for many of the items in The British Museum.
