The vast majority of CEO's are dark-triad hucksters whose sole talent is self-promotion. Their superficial charm and predatory skills of manipulation are what allow them to rise through the ranks. Once having arrived at the top, they tend to destroy shareholder value as opposed to maintaining or increasing it.
