Having used an adblock for a decade or more, it's actually shocking to browse without one these days, it actually feels like I've got malware, with many many sites having LAYERS of ads, like they are buckshotting and expecting most to be blocked.


Right? I bought an iPad, and it doesn't let me filter all of that noise. Boy howdy is the web loud!

A few years ago, I built a website while kind of forgetting how others experience the web. It's lightweight, and eschews ads, newsletter prompts, cookie notices, chatboxes, tracking and all the other annoyances. I didn't think much of it, but a lot of people notice and bring it up when they contact me.

I'm tapping into an undiscovered niche: websites that don't piss people off!


Safari on iOS allows extensions nowadays. Wipr, SponsorBlock and StopTheMadness are some you should check out.
