I actually just switched from k3d back to minikube the other day. Both are great, but have some little problems that block me for hours. They are both moving in the right direction though.

k3d/k3s starts up fast and feels minimal. I still have problems building docker images and pushing them into the cluster.

Minikube solves this well: ``` minikube image build . -t localhost:5000/myapp:latest minikube image push localhost:5000/myapp:latest ```

I will be very happy when one of these runs locally without com.docker.hyperkit running 70% CPU even while idle.
