That was my experience as well. Facebook was just reduced to people I talked to on other channels every week, so I ended up not logging on to Facebook anyway. When GDPR rolled in and Facebook asked to accept the updated terms and conditions I just clicked "no" and Facebook told me that I'd have to close my account.
