I think we disagree on a fundamental level. what i have perceived in HN is that most ppl here tries to point out different angles of things. even if you post something totally positive and beneficial there will be someone to point out the weak points and i love it (you can ignore them or not).
Because linkedin main audience are like marketers, CEOs and more ppl to promote their stuff and connect with other and they love it and wont leave it. But as a technical person i have not benefited from it in any shape or form except for saying yeah im here too.
Even if we solve coding part by replacing it entirely with AI there are still many other factors involved making software. AI alone simply is not native to the procedure we have to release software
So basically, to save the world countries need to help mothers that work or woman that might want to have kids. because looks like the biggest factor is a sexist and extreme work culture.
I have had 10 of these messages in linkedin in the past few months and all of used bitbucket or gitea self hosted. I never ran the code because a colleague of mine a year ago told me a similar story
