That's the most authors I've seen on any paper. I counted 46 across 36 separate institutions.

46 authors isn’t that many. Big projects necessitate many authors (e.g. https://arxiv.org/abs/1807.06209)

In high energy physics it can easily be thousands of authors, like in the ATLAS collaboration.

Turns out launching a gigantic camera into orbit and developing a photograph of the beginning of the universe takes teamwork.

The OP should try with -march=native so the compiler can use vector instructions.

Slightly off-topic but I like this way to test if memory is all zeroes: https://rusty.ozlabs.org/2015/10/20/ccanmems-memeqzero-itera... (see "epiphany #2" at the bottom of the page) I really wish there was a standard libc function for it.

I just tried "-O3 -march=znver5" as well as "-O3 -march=native" and it didn't seem to make any difference.

About 5% of people are narcissistic sociopaths. They don't believe that other people exist, or at least are anything more than actors in a play they control. Try not to elect one as President.

This is a good pop-science book about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Psychopath_Test

Also the US politicians suffering from Khan Derangement Syndrome. He really is one of the most anodyne politicians around, obviously no one is genuinely upset about him.

"Guy being humped by a horse" wouldn't have been my first choice for demoing the capabilities of the model, but each to their own I guess.

It looks like a marketing move. It's a good quality, detailed picture. It's going to get shared a lot. I would assume they knew exactly what they were doing. Nothing like a bit of controversy for extra clicks.

Depicting a man being anally raped by an animal is illegal in many places and immoral for most people. If you're downplaying it, take a walk and think about how you got to this place in your life.

I believe this is not the intention: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46961397

Elsewhere in the comments they provide a context for it.

Edit: I found the picture and I cannot understand how did you come to your interpretation of that: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46957685

The most I'd say is "a man knocked on the ground and dominated by the horse of the unknown sex".

> If you're downplaying it

You're reading way too much into what I wrote.

Well good thing that's not what they posted then right

Because every ML researcher is a viral social media expert.

(I don’t even know if I’m being sarcastic)

This is not some random ML researcher doing fun things at home. Qwen is backed by Alibaba cloud. They likely have whole departments of marketing people available.

Not to mention the gigantic legal iceberg the first time someone is attacked or worse after meeting through the app.

Private Equity has been buying up vets in the UK and jacking up prices massively, causing all sorts of knock-on negative consequences. Vets in the UK were not failing before.

Unfortunately our competition authorities are toothless. Their proposed remedy is that vets will have to publish prices on their websites from now on. Woohoo.

I have a discord account that I use very rarely, and just tried it (from the UK) and it didn't ask me for any ID or face scan. If they do start doing that, I'll simply stop using the service.

Not precisely, but C-- (hard to search for!) was a C-like (or C subset?) intermediate language for compilers to generate.

I found this Reddit thread that gives a bit more detail:

and the project link:

A good, meditative film with a long arc of time and a bit of prison is Ash is the Purest White (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7298400/)
