As opposed to to users on other social networks fact checking their articles? I find their US politics coverage to be more balanced and factual than other news outlets.

I heard a saying once, something like, "thinking too much about the past causes depression and thinking too much about the future causes anxiety." In other words stay in the present as much as possible and fend off invasive thoughts with distractions, hobbies, and helping others.

I never understood the appeal of Discourse. It feels heavy with an overutilization of negative space. The D programming language forum is a good example of a well-designed forum in my opinion.

If you want to use something lighter, Flarum exists, modern but lightweight built using PHP. The grapheneOS forum uses, but I like discord because its more advanced with many features and integrations.

A game based on the Bobiverse book series.

The game procedurally generates a universe which you can explore. You can also make copies of yourself (ship) and can interact with other "Bobs" in each star system. Each clone of yourself is a true AI in the game with its own personality and decision tree.

I might be minority here, but I prefer Bitwarden because of it's seamless ability to sync passwords with my wife. There's no way she's going to use something complicated or non-intuitive and she mostly uses iOS. We have nothing to hide from each other so all of our passwords are in the same vault. We also use the secure notes functionality to lookup important family info.

I ran into the same issue. It was a sad moment for me because I backed them during their crowd sourcing days but ended up cancelling both their VPN and "Plus" mail service. What solidified my decision was after cancelling the mail service I was no longer able to export all of my email. I ended up having to temporarily reactivate the subscription so that I could export to mbox.

Logged in to say hi to a fellow MemPad user! I just emailed Horst the other day to request some features. It was interesting to learn about PureBasic as well which is what he uses for all of his programs.

I'd be worried if I owned the house in the last photo. It appears the land is eroding and the house is REALLY close to the edge.
