Somebody knows how a part of a complex system works. We can't say this for complex systems created with AI. This is a road into the abyss. The article is making it worse by downplaying the issue.
I swear, every fascist has the same playbook. They use the same phrases, same accusations, same lies, sometimes even same wordings. It is like they have a single hive mind - for which everyone else is the enemy and is subject to destruction or enslaving.
The Epstein files are revealing a web of surprising connections. Epstein's network knew about 9/11 and made stock trades beforehand. He was personally involved in some UK corruption to lower taxes on bank executives.
And what to do with all of his supporters, which include the entire caste of billionaires, who control media and many other spheres of life, including the development of AGI?
Everyone cares about the MAD doctrine, although some people with power may pretend they do not, while others may pretend they believe that those people with power don't care.
The system is designed to do exactly that. This is called ‘productivity increase’ and is deflationary in large dosages. Deflation sounds good until you understand where it’s coming from.
No just stop being cynical. The reason almost every electronic item is cheaper now than 2 decades back is just becuase the demand(and thus supply) is higher.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. I'd argue it's more the result of the CCP bankrolling the Chinese electronics industry to the point where roughly 70% of all electronics goods are produced in China. The concentration of expertise and supply chains is staggering, and, imo, was really born out of geopolitical strategy.
No, its not. Transistors used to cost $1. Now they cost $1/billion or something. It's all because the 10s of billions of fixed cost incurred by fab is shared among customers. If we create less chips, the fixed cost wont reduce.

But we don't see this bankrolling in absolute values. Rather, it's due to regressive taxation, low (cheap) social security for workers, and very weak intellectual property protection.
I got recommended this and I will watch it today, thank you. One of the comments points out
"They’ve literally told us that the plan is to get bailed out by the taxpayers"
This reminded me of how I think what's gonna happen/ is already happening is that they become too big to fail and get bailed out and the burden/loss becomes of taxpayers
So we are kind of living in a system which is reckless about finances/stability behind businesses where the system is such that all the profits are privatized but all the losses are shared/even funded by the average person
Combine in a mix of corruption in any political party to begin with and I am wondering why we don't have yet another french revolution.
